Harry Poe

Harry Eugene Poe, 84, of Dallas, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Walnut Place in Dallas.

He was born Sept. 9, 1930, in St. Louis, to Harry Emil and Etheline Lillian Huey Poe.

Harry was reared in Cape Girardeau. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and Missouri University of Science and Technology. He worked for Joslyn Corp., and lived in Ohio, California, and later settled in Texas. He was active in the emeritus program after retirement at Richland College in Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There is no visitation.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Long officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
