GORDONVILLE -- Harry Raymond Duschell, 80, Gordonville Route 1, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 12, 1916, in Vanita, Okla., son of Joseph and Myrtle Cook Duschell. He and Grace Farmer were married May 3, 1949, at Dexter.

Duschell moved to Cape Girardeau County in 1926 from Vanita. He had worked at a Civilian Conservation Corps Camp in his younger years. He later was a truck driver for B&W Transport and Commercial Transport, retiring in 1974.

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, and Teamsters Local 574.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bradley and Brian Duschell of Jackson; a daughter, Harriett Tritschler of Arizona; four sisters, Opal Duncan of Cape Girardeau, Lois Aime of Dallas, Ore., Alice Means of Clinton, Lilly Penturf of Ironton; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-7 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Donnie Ford officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
