Harry Russell Clark Jr., 82, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the Missouri Veterans Home.

He was born Sept. 20, 1934, near Randles to the late Harry Russell and Emma Josephine Reams Clark. He was married to Bevelry Chrzan in 1967. She died in 1992.

He was an over-the-road truck driver and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1952 to 1958. He received the Korean Service Medal with two bronze stars, United Nations Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal and Korean PUC.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry Clark Weber of Mattoon, Illinois, and Mark Clark of California; four daughters, Renee Clark of California, Janet (Tom) Dryer of Bonner Springs, Kansas, Diane (Sam) Stevens of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, and Kelly Clark of Independence, Missouri; two brothers, Billy Gene (Joanie) Clark of Lake Forest, California, and Charles Ray Clark of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Alice (Kenneth) Chapman of Advance, Missouri, and Mary Lou Crowden of Jackson; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two sons, Steve and Mike; two daughters, Judy and Anita; brother, Roy Allen Clark; and sister, Janet Sue Bond.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with Shea Daniel Mouser and Michael McKenzie officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
