Harry Cantrell

Harry Eugene Cantrell, 93, of Mayfield, Ky., formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Mills Health and Rehab Facility in Mayfield.

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, and was retired from the railroad industry.

Cantrell is survived by a son, Robert (Lois) Cantrell of Mayfield; a daughter, Janet (Robert) Wills of O'Fallon, Mo.; a sister, Celeste Watson of Overland, Mo.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry O. and Grace Matlock Cantrell; wife, Christine Brasher Cantrell; a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from noon to service time today at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at the cemetery, with the Rev. Dan Watson officiating.

Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield is in charge of arrangements.
