For more than 22 years, Harry was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force, working in the Staff Judge Advocate's Office beginning at the Pentagon and finishing his career at Scott Air Force Base. After retiring from the Air Force, Harry worked for United Van Lines.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Clark Borgfield for nearly 68 years; cherished father of Karen (Kevin) Harrison, Cheryl (the late Bob) Hardt and Brenda (Steven) Newcombe; adoring grandfather to Sean (Michelle) Harrison, Ryan (Megan) Harrison, Zachary (Lacey) Ebert, Joshua (Monica) Eday, Alisha Gay, Heather (Gary Gendron) Gay, Daniel (Michelle Rutledge) Newcombe, Rebecca (Timothy) Brown; and great-grandfather of 19. Harry also leaves behind a brother, Cletus (the late Ethyl) Borgfield, and a sister, Elsie Gerecke.

If desired, memorial donations may be made in Harry's memory to Food Pantry Fund of First United Methodist Church of Festus, Missouri.

Visitation and funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 30, at Heiligtag- Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold. Interment with full military honors followed at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
