DE SOTO, Mo. -- Harry F. Acre, 87, of De Soto died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Mo.
He was born Sept. 13, 1924, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., son of Harry F. Sr. and Mary Kirby Acre.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine (nee Hunter) Acre of De Soto; a son, Frosty (Annette) Acre of Hillsboro, Mo.; a daughter, Valerie (the late Terry) Eades of Scott City; grandchildren, Patrick (Lacie) Eades, David Eades, Amanda (Kyle) Turner, Aaron Eades, Lee (Rebecca) Acre, Adam Acre, Jordan Acre; great-grandchildren, Bennett Eades and Justin Eades.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny Acre.
A memorial service was held Oct. 10, 2011, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
