Harriet Louise Kinsey, 85, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015, at Odin Health Care Center in Odin, Illinois.
She was born March 19, 1930, in Centralia, to Richard Coyne and Hazel Boerup Bierman. She and Dwight John Kinsey were married Oct. 28, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Harriet was a licensed practical nurse at St. Mary's Hospital 21 years. She was a lifelong area resident. She loved genealogy, quilting and crocheting. She enjoyed playing the organ and piano.
Survivors include a son, Richard Ernest Kinsey and wife, Jan Gregory of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Deborah Ann Roundy and husband, Bruce, of Salt Lake City; a sister, Ann Morsch of Morton, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Barrett Gregory Kinsey and Lauren Suzanne Kitchen.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service was held Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery in Centralia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
