ANNA, Ill. -- Harold Gene Taylor, 84, of Anna died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at St. Louis University Hospital.
He was born Feb. 10, 1928, son of Lowell and Mannie Taylor. He and Mary Catheryn Dillow were married Sept. 11, 1954, in Danville, Ill.
Harold is survived by his wife, Mary Catheryn Taylor of Anna; other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Murrie, Harold, Bob and Roy Taylor; and a sister, Betty Taylor.
Harold was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Anna, SEMO Deaf Club and Senior Citizens Club of Belleville, Ill. He was a 1949 graduate of Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating.
Interment will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Resurrection Cemetery in Danville.
