ESSEX -- Harold Quinton Malloy Sr., 69, of rural Essex died Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born Feb. 3, 1934, at Appleton, Ark., the son of Haney and Tellie Martin Malloy. On April 18, 1953, he married Dimple McWaters at Morehouse. She survives of the home.
He was a retired farm laborer and a member of the Assembly of God denomination.
Other survivors are two sons, Harold Quinton Malloy Jr. and Charles Dean Malloy, both of Essex; a daughter, Treasa Malloy of Essex; three brothers; and five sisters.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Tim Russell will officiate, and burial will be in the Essex Cemetery.
