Harold Stephen Pobst, 94, of Oran, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born December 26, 1920, in Oran, Missouri, to the late Michael and Louisa Menz Pobst.

He married Berniece Gluckhertz on September 27, 1941, and she survives.

Harold was a retired self-employed farmer. He showed and raised Duroc hogs at county and state fairs. He was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran and Knights of Columbus Council #4311.

He is survived by his wife, Berniece; one son, Terry (Rose) Pobst of Oran; three daughters, Beverly (Michael) Grojean of Manchester, Missouri, Marsha Norman of Cape Girardeau and Gina Caudill of Winchester, Virginia; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Harold was preceded in death by one son, Ron Pobst; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; eight brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Knights of Columbus prayer service.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant.

Burial will follow at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Guardian Angel School Endowment Fund.
