CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Harold Eugene Lee, 72, of Charleston died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 15, 1930, in Charleston, son of John Marion and Delia May Sitzes Lee. He and Dorothy Jean Griffith were married Aug. 13, 1955, in Charleston.
Lee was a self-employed contractor. He moved to Charleston seven years ago from Benton, Mo. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church at Benton.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steven Lee of Sikeston, Mo., Mark Lee of Charleston; a brother, Charles Lee of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Dorothy Pottinger of Gun Barrel City, Texas; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Unity Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
