Harold Andrew Keene, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 2, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born May 15, 1917, in New Madrid, son of Andrew Eugene and Jenny Gardner Keene. He and Mildred Lucille Tisher were married Sept. 18, 1937, in Clinton, Ky. She died July 30, 1997.
Keene had been a truck driver with Elmer Heuring Trucking. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Keene of Kennett, Marvin Keene of Cape Girardeau, Johnie Keene of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Christine Redfering of East Prairie; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, son, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with Gaylor Grindstaff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
