PERRYVILLE -- Harold J. Hayden, 58, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 4, 1996, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Perry County, the son of Joseph F. and Emma Otto Hayden. He married Ruth Hornberger on June 3, 1961. She survives.

He was a retired trucker and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Also surviving are two sons, Jeffrey Hayden of Festus and Craig Hayden of Jackson; two daughters, Michelle Hayden and Amy Hayden, both of St. Louis, eight brothers, Melvin, Joseph, Merlin, William, Harvey, Donald, Norman and Roy Hayden, all of Perryville; two sisters, Lwana Mueller of Arnold and Iona Beckerman of Perryville; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today and from 6:30-9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
