FROHNA, Mo. -- Harold E. Hemmann, 88, of Frohna died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.
He was born Aug. 28, 1916, in Uniontown, Mo., son of Benjamin and Hulda Frede Hemmann. He and Rosa W. Kahnert were married April 29, 1944.
Hemmann was a farmer. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church at Frohna, and former elder and usher.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Hemmann of Perryville; two daughters, Marilyn Steffens of Cape Girardeau, Elaine Miesner of Frohna; a brother, Gilmer Hemmann of Uniontown, Mo.; a sister, Alice Hacker of Perryville; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg, Mo., from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Concordia Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
