Harold G. Fallert, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 2, 2005, at deGreeff Hospice House in St. Louis, Mo. He was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, son of Andrew A. and Catherine Grass Fallert. Harold graduated from St. Mary's High School and St. Louis University. Harold G. Fallert, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Sept. 2, 2005, at deGreeff Hospice House in St. Louis, Mo.

He was born Oct. 3, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, son of Andrew A. and Catherine Grass Fallert.

Harold graduated from St. Mary's High School and St. Louis University. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was retired from a career as a CPA at Schott and Van de Ven.

Harold was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.

Loving survivors include two sons, Hal Fallert and wife Patti of West Des Moines, Iowa, and Vince Fallert and wife Maria of Fenton, Mo.; two daughters, Cathy McBride and husband Gordon of Lake Lotawana, Mo., and Karen Cohen and husband Mark of Wildwood, Mo.; a brother, Dan Fallert and wife Hattie of North Carolina; a sister, Rosanna Woeltje of Jackson, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Wanda Brown Fallert, the mother of his children.

Friends may call Sunday, between 5:30 and 8 p.m. at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel, 829 N. West End Blvd., Cape Girardeau. Parish prayers will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. Burial with full military honors by the Delta Team will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the deGreeff Hospice House, 10024 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, Mo., 63128.
