SUMMERSVILLE -- Harold Dean Williams Sr. of Summersville, Mo., a former Jackson resident, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 1992, at the St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Mo. He was 58. SUMMERSVILLE -- Harold Dean Williams Sr. of Summersville, Mo., a former Jackson resident, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 1992, at the St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Mo. He was 58.

He was born April 26, 1934, in Summersville to Martin Luther Williams and Eva Barnett Williams. He married Glenda Orrell April 27, 1975, in Jackson.

She survives as does one son, Harold Dean Williams Jr., both of Summersville; two brothers, Calvin Williams of Cape Girardeau, Jesse Williams of Jackson; and one sister, Wilma Maloney of Jackson. He was preceded in death by one brother.

He had been disabled for the past several years. Prior to that, he operated a marina. He served in the Army from March 1959 until March 1965. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a former member of American Legion Post 158 in Jackson.

Graveside services will be held Monday, Sept. 28, at 10 a.m. at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Loy Barks will officiate.

McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson is handling the arrangements.
