SCOTT CITY -- Graveside service for Harold D. Eifert of Scott City will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Mr. Eifert died Tuesday at Scott City. He was 72.

He was born Aug. 18, 1918 at Fornfelt, the son of John and Elda Koch Eifert.

He attended and graduated from Illmo High School and farmed in the Illmo area his entire life. He was of the Jehovah's Witness denomination.

He is survived by a brother, Calvin Eifert of Scott City; a sister-in-law, Mildred Eifert of Bertrand; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of the arrangements.
