HARLENE SCHUERENBERG

SIKESTON -- Agnes Harlene Schuerenberg, 88, of Sikeston died Monday, May 29, 2000, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Jan. 22, 1912, in Cave-in-Rock, Ill., daughter of Harland and Maggie Hans Sheridan. She and Lynual A. Schuerenberg were married on Aug. 22, 1934, in Jonesboro, Ill. He died Aug. 5, 1986.

She was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston. She had been a volunteer at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for many years.

She is survived by a son, Fred Schuerenberg of Sikeston; two sisters, Kathy Benincasa of Boca Raton, Fla., and Mariella Rash of Elizabethtown, Ill; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a grandson.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston, with the Rev. Rick Lasley officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
