JACKSON - Funeral services will be held Monday for Hannah Penrod of Cape Girardeau County. She died Thursday, Jan. 3, 1991, at Deal Nursing Home in Jackson. She was 99.
She was born June 24, 1891, the daughter of Henry Emmit and Allie Meyer Pinkerton. She was married on Nov. 14, 1907, to Clinton Penrod. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1960.
Survivors include: five sons, Harry Penrod of Everett, Wash., Clinton and Roy Penrod, both of Jackson, Howard Penrod of Fulton, Dennis Penrod of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Zola Robinson and Ola Rea Bollinger, both of Jackson; 27 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Glenn and Earless Penrod; a daughter, Lucille; one brother; one sister; one half-sister; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter and one great-grandson.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church near Pocahontas.
Friends may call at the Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 3-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held at the New Bethel Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Monday. The body will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The Rev. Don Slatton, of the New Bethel Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery.
