Hannah V. Cotner, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born June 5, 1917, at Neelys Landing, daughter of Robert E. and Mary McCain Rumfelt.
Cotner was a baker at Child's IGA and Denny's IGA. She also was a cook at Hilltop Nursing Home. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Cotner of Cape Girardeau, Stephen Cotner of St. Louis; three daughters, Judi Welsh of Jackson, Debbie (Randy) Norman of Eldridge, Mo., Vicki (Kent) Zickfield of Cape Girardeau; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Cotner of Scott City; a sister, Joe Ann Johnson of New Cambria, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Brian Jones, Randy Bowers, Trace Welsh, Cody Cotner, David Likens, William Zickfield, Wendi Zickfield, Katie Cotner, Zack Cotner; five great-grandchildren, Ashley and Melissa Jones, and Cody, Caleb, and Cole Likens; and two great-great-grandchildren, Christian and William Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Anthony and John Cotner; three daughters, Pauline Rumfelt, Virginia Cotner, Charlotte Crouch; and 11 siblings.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Douglas C. Breite officiating. Burial will be in High Hill Cemetery at Neelys Landing.
