She was born Dec. 22, 1921, at Whitewater, daughter of Ernest and Miza Fulton Thiele. She married Alfred Winchester on April 7, 1938. He preceded her in death July 11, 1977...

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Guida Waneta Winchester, 88, of Marble Hill passed away Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born Dec. 22, 1921, at Whitewater, daughter of Ernest and Miza Fulton Thiele. She married Alfred Winchester on April 7, 1938. He preceded her in death July 11, 1977.

Mrs. Winchester was a member of Hahn Chapel General Baptist Church and Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include a son, Larry (Rachel) Winchester of Marble Hill; a daughter, Patricia (Stanley) Smith of Burfordville; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Harry Hahn and Burnell Thiele; and a sister, Norma Potter.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
