CAIRO, Ill. - Funeral services for Grayce Speck, 80, of Cairo, Ill., will be held Tuesday, April 9, at 1 p.m., at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. The Rev. Larry L. Potts will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Ill.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
Speck died Sunday, April 7, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 30, 1910, in Dyersberg, Tenn., to the late J.D. and Vona Collins Vogle.
She married Martin Speck, who preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1971.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sandra M. Trimble of Upland, Calif.; one son, Gordon R. Speck of Waterloo, Ill.;
One grandson, Vance Trimble of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two brothers, Vancil Vogle of Cairo, Ill., and Mike Vogle of Houston, Texas.
Speck was a bookkeeper for Lafoon Accounting and Office Supplies, Inc., of Cairo, until her retirement.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cairo.
