Gracia M. Mackey of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1993 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born at Salem, Mo., the daughter of Earl and Drusilla Callahan Say. In 1929, she married C.C. Mackey at Salem. He preceded her in death Dec. 2, 1981...

Gracia M. Mackey of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1993 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born at Salem, Mo., the daughter of Earl and Drusilla Callahan Say.

In 1929, she married C.C. Mackey at Salem. He preceded her in death Dec. 2, 1981.

She is survived by two sons, J. Linn Mackey, Boone, N.C., Earl Mackey, Lake Oswego, Ore.; two brothers, William and Edward Say, Salem; four sisters, Helen Barnes, Des Moines, Iowa, Virginia Covington, Baltimore, Md., Martha Hamblin, Salem, Drusilla Dinzler, St. Louis; and six grandchildren.

One grandchild preceded her in death.

The moved to Cape Girardeau from Salem in 1938. She attended Central Methodist University and Southeast Missouri State University.

She was a member of PEO and of Centenary United Methodist Church. She was active in the United Methodist Women and Sunday School.

Funeral service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Salem at 4 p.m. Saturday.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
