GRACE WOLTERS

JACKSON -- Grace C. Wolters, 89, of Jackson, died Sunday, July 21, 1996, at Jackson Manor.

She was born Nov. 15, 1906, at Bismarck, daughter of Charles P. and Amanda C. Wallace Fatchett. She and William Wolters were married Nov. 15, 1928, in Chicago. He died Oct. 10, 1986.

Wolters moved to Jackson in 1914 from Bismarck. She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church, its United Methodist Women and Dorcas Circle, taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School a number of years.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Wallis of Millersville; a brother, Norman Fatchett of Alton, Ill.; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev O. David Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
