CAIRO, Ill. -- Grace Greaney, 81, of Cairo died Saturday, June 24, 1995, at her home.

She was born Feb. 3, 1914, at Cairo, daughter of Thomas and Zerilda Etheridge Gardner.

Greaney was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic parish in Cairo. She was a retired bookkeeper for First Bank and Trust Co. in Cairo and a member of the Patrons Club of Magnolia Manor in Cairo.

Survivors are a son, John B. Greaney III of Barnhart, Mo.; three sisters, Reba VanDover of East Prairie, Blanche Beeler of Cairo and Betty Wettmann of Houston.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the chapel.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cairo, with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge, Ill.
