JONESBORO, Ill. -- Grace M. Fox, 80, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at Jonesboro Rehab and Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Lamasco, Ky., daughter of William Thomas and Noma Faughn Salyers. She married Donald Aldridge, who preceded her in death. She later married Gene W. JONESBORO, Ill. -- Grace M. Fox, 80, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at Jonesboro Rehab and Health Care Center.

She was born Feb. 1, 1926, in Lamasco, Ky., daughter of William Thomas and Noma Faughn Salyers. She married Donald Aldridge, who preceded her in death. She later married Gene W. Fox, who also preceded her in death.

Fox was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Connie Sherfy of Jonesboro; a sister, Ann Middleton of Anna, Ill.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, two sisters and six brothers.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
