PERRYVILLE -- Goldie P. Hanquist, 93, of Perryville, died Monday, March 20, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 2, 1901, at Fruitland, daughter of Carl and Nora McNeely. She and Carl E. Hanquist were married Sept. 28, 1918. He died May 29, 1971...

PERRYVILLE -- Goldie P. Hanquist, 93, of Perryville, died Monday, March 20, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 2, 1901, at Fruitland, daughter of Carl and Nora McNeely. She and Carl E. Hanquist were married Sept. 28, 1918. He died May 29, 1971.

Hanquist was a member of the United Methodist Church and its Women's Society of Christian Service.

Survivors include two sons, R. Gene Hanquist of Salinas, Calif., Lynn Hanquist of Perryville; a sister, Geraldine Hershey of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, two daughters, a sister and grandson.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30-9:45 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
