SIKESTON -- Gloria Mills, 50, of Sikeston was found dead at her home Monday, May 8, 2000.

She was born Nov. 3, 1949, in Sikeston, daughter of Pluitt and Florida Leonard Wiggins.

Mills was a graduate of Sikeston High School. She was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, LaVonda Mills of Sikeston; a son, Alan Mills of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Louis, Gary, Jimmy and Freddie Wiggins, all of Sikeston; four sisters, Dorothy Thornton and Juanita Pearson of Sikeston, Barbara Thompson of Cape Girardeau, Betty Wiggins of Kansas City; stepmother, Willie Wiggins of Sikeston; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mission Missouri (formerly Green Memorial Church of God In Christ). Larry Wiggins will officiate.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
