Gloria Lunsford
Gloria "Earlene" Lunsford, 71, of Jackson, passed away on August 10, 2024. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and long-time boyfriend. Memorial services will be held on August 16 at McCombs Funeral Home.
Gloria “Earlene” Lunsford, 71, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, at her home.
She was born Jan. 13, 1953, in Kennett, daughter of John and Oma Gattis Barks.
Earlene attended New Bethel Baptist Church.
Loving survivors include a daughter, Julie Weakley of Jackson; a son, Jerry (Rachel) Broshuis of Jackson; three grandchildren, Angel Olson, Jerod and Logan Broshuis, all of Jackson; brother, Gene Barks of Alton, Illinois; three half brothers, Roy, Glen and Jimmy Simmons; and longtime boyfriend, Ted Farrow.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Evalene Collins; sister, Carol Lincoln; and two half sisters, Francis Nations and Wilma Hovis.
Memorial visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Zac Rohman officiating. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery in Pocahontas.
The family suggests that contributions be made to New Bethel Baptist Church.
