PATTON, Mo. -- Glenna L. Beakley Norris, 61, of Sycamore Hills, Mo., passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, in Sycamore Hills.
The daughter of Larry and Margie Beakley, she was raised on a farm near Patton and graduated from Meadow Heights High School.
She is the beloved wife of Richard Norris; dear mother and mother-in-law of Juli (Mike) Waller of Warner Robins, Ga., and Tim (Amy) Grindstaff of Cleveland; dear "GG" of Reagan, Landon, Grayson, Harrison, John, Anna and the late Therese; dear daughter of Margie Beakley of Jackson and the late Larry Beakley; dear sister of Suzie (Robert) Lukefahr of Jackson, Connie (Roger) Dailey of Sedgewickville, Mo., and Dena (Bruce) Mouser of Jackson; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Road, Overland, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Union Light Church in Marquand, Mo., with visitation at church one hour before the service. Interment will be in Union Light Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Glenna L. Beakley-Norris Foundation for the Life Sciences, Greg Pantazi, treasurer, 3651 Weber Road, St. Louis, MO 63125-1035.
