Glenn T. "Tom" Edmonds Sr., 54, of Jackson died Thursday, April 24, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 7, 1942, at Oriole, the son of Everett and Ruby Cummings Edmonds. He married Charlotte McClard on July 11, 1983. She survives.
He worked at QT Masonry in Jackson and was a member of Union Local 916 of Farmington.
He is survived by three sons, Glenn T. Edmonds Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Steven Edmonds of Pocahontas and Terry Miller of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a daughter, Sarah Hess of Jackson; a stepson, Scott Macke of Jackson; four stepdaughters, Kathy Borgfield of Oak Ridge, Karen McClard of Jackson, Donna Craft of Sedgewickville and Vickie Ruch of Tilsit; four sisters, Letha Abernathy of Oriole, Nadine Hollandsworth of Wentzville, Donna Singleton of Altenburg and Irma Turley of Chaffee; a brother, Jim Edmonds of Chaffee; nine grandchildren; and 12 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
