Glenn Edwin Statler, 81, of Jackson died Saturday, April 14, 2007, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 8, 1925, in Patton, son of Andrew J. and Verna G. Grindstaff Statler. He and Pauline Lincoln were married Dec. 8, 1947, in Patton.
Statler was an Air Force veteran of World War II, a supervisor at Clean Tee in St. Louis, a member of the Masonic Lodge 626 in St. Louis and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Statler of Jackson; two sons, Richard Edwin Statler and Randall K. Statler, both of St. Louis; two daughters, Paula R. Redman of Valley Park, Mo., and Ruth G. McGhee of Ozark, Mo.; a sister, Grace Osburn of Jackson; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Grant Gillard and Eric Snider officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Missouri Military Honors Team will follow at the Patton Cemetery.
