GLENN PLUCKNETT

SIKESTON -- Glenn W. Plucknett, 75, of Sikeston, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Dec. 15, 1924, in Dewitt, Neb., son of the late Walter Harrison and Flossie Marko Plucknett. He was a self-employed farmer and a member of the Christ Episcopal Church in Beatrice, Neb. He was a member of the Sikeston Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3319.

On Aug. 4, 1950, he married Mary Jane Fry in Lincoln, Neb.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ben Plucknett of Sikeston and John Plucknett of Ogallala, Neb.; a daughter, Jane Deroin of Boise, Idaho; a brother, Albert Plucknett of Lincoln; three sisters, Marilyn Baehr of Boulder, Colo., Thelma Maxwell of Las Vegas, Nev., and Harriett Holt of Sacramento, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

The body was cremated, and private services are being held.

Nunnelee Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
