Glenn Fleek

Glenn L. Fleek, 73, of St. Peters, Mo., formerly of Jackson, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at his home.

He was born Dec. 15, 1940, in St. Louis to Glenn Woeltje and Dorothy Ulrich.

Glenn worked at General Motors Co. in Wentzville, Mo., from 1968 to 1999 and retired as team coordinator. He enjoyed Westerns and taking trips on his Harley-Davidson. In his later years, he got back into riding horses and especially enjoyed horse-mounted shooting on a horse named Redman. He had a passion for photography, and in retirement opened and owned Photography by Glenn, in which he was a perfectionist. He was a member of UAW Local 2250. He was of the Lutheran belief.

Survivors include a daughter, Gail M. Best (Chuck Kessler) of Jackson; a son, Cliff L. (Sandy) Harris of Edmond, Okla.; three grandchildren, Laura Robinson of Indianapolis, Ashlee Hill of Dallas and Kyle Best of Jackson; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Baue Funeral Home, 3950 W. Clay St. in St. Charles, Mo.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the COPD Foundation.
