BENTON, Mo. -- Glenn Bollinger, 85, died at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2002, at his home.
Glenn was born Oct. 23, 1917, at Scopus, Mo., son of Bernie E. and Elsie Crader Bollinger. He and Alma Hooker were married Jan. 10, 1938. She preceded him in death Oct. 25, 1979.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include a grandson, Kevin Bollinger of Benton; two great-grandsons, Kyle and Cole Bollinger of Benton; a daughter-in-law, Sonnie Bollinger of Benton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Leona Bollinger of Bethalto, Ill., Roy and Christine Bollinger of Blodgett, Mo., Clyde and Margaret Bollinger of Festus, Mo.; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Almeda Mayfield of St. Ann, Mo., Mary Lou and Robert Latham of Florissant, Mo., and Rosalie Bollinger of Benton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donald Lee Bollinger; and a brother, Dale Bollinger.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. The Rev. Dennis Lowe and the Rev. Dale Huff will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley, Mo.
