STURDIVANT, Mo. -- Glendale Ladd, 69, of Sturdivant died Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 30, 1935, at Como, Mo., son of Finis and Thelma Whitehead Ladd. He and Shirley Kennedy were married Feb. 7, 1953, at Marble Hill, Mo.
Ladd was a truck driver and timber worker. He was a member of Zalma Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald Ladd of Sturdivant; two daughters, Patty Bitterman of Advance, Mo., Phyllis Rutherford of Sturdivant; a brother, Jim Ladd of Jackson; four grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and two brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial will be in Balch Cemetery at Zalma, Mo.
