Glenda Wills

Glenda E. Wills, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, June 21, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 25, 1911, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Oscar and Dora May Bowers Thompson. She and Tillman E. Wills were married Nov. 7, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. He died May 19, 2000.

Wills was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and the former Cape Business College. She worked at Southeast Lumber Company, Cape Carpet and the former Walther Furniture store before retiring in 1990.

Survivors include a son, Larry Gene Wills of Parker, Colo.; three daughters, Judi Faulkner of Kingston, Ga., Vickie Kain of Cobden, Ill., and Janet Watkins of Wentzville, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clayton Smith officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
