OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Glenda Prosser, 62, of Olive Branch died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, at her home.
She was born Aug. 31, 1947, in Cairo, Ill., to Raymond E. and Mildred Woodney Cain. She and Dave Prosser were married March 1, 1969.
Prosser was a member of Lake Milligan Baptist Church. She was a graduate and valedictorian of Egyptian High School class of 1965. She had worked in the county clerk's office, at Abercrombie Abstract and Bennett Realty.
Survivors include her husband, Dave; a brother, Kenny (Mandy) Cain of Tamms, Ill.; a nephew, Casey, and a niece, Erin Cain; stepmother, LaVonne Bridges; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Mound City National Cemetery, with the Rev. Verlee Eaker officiating.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
