PATTON, Mo. -- Glenda Long, 91, of Patton passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 2, 1929, in Sedgewickville, Missouri, daughter of Charley and Beulah Hartle Haupt. She and Everett Long were united in marriage Sept. 16, 1950, and he passed away May 3, 1998.
Glenda was a homemaker, loving mother and granny. She was a member of the Millersville Baptist Church.
Glenda is survived by her daughters, June (Robert) O'Dell of Jackson and Susan (DeWayne) Birk of Burfordville; grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Yount, Rachel (Nick) Jones, Marcus (Kelli) Birk and Amanda (Adam) Walter; and great-grandchildren, Isaac Yount, Jesse Yount, Chandler Jones, Hannah Jones, Madison Jones, Clayton Birk, Aden Walter and Austin Walter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Everett Long; parents; and brothers, Ralph and Billy Haupt.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, with the Rev. Roy Michael officiating.
