Glenda Hood, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, July 3, 1997, at the Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born Aug. 22, 1919, at Zalma, daughter of Earnest and Hettie V. Berrong Randolph.
She was a homemaker. She was of the General Baptist faith.
She was first married to Joseph Sampson Conder. She later married Robert H. Hood. He survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Marion Thomas Condor of Clubb, Benny Joe Conder and Trennis Lee Conder, both of Gipsy; a daughter, Evelyn Marie Conder of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Norman Schrader of High Ridge, James E. "J.E." Schrader of Jackson and Leeman Schrader of Painton; a grandson; six step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in Advance, with the Rev. Robert Porter officiating. Interment will be in Berrong Cemetery near Zalma.
