CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Glenda Faye Hahn, 62, of Chaffee passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003.
She was born June 6, 1941, in Chaffee, daughter of Lawrence Joseph and Jessie Rozina Bailey Glency. She married Jerry Lee Hahn Feb. 15, 1958.
Glenda was very active in trail riding and showed horses many years. She worked at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. before she worked at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee 30 years, retiring in February 1996.
She was a member of Chaffee General Baptist Church, where she served as secretary many years. She also was a member of Chaffee VFW Post 3127 Ladies Auxiliary.
Loving survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Rick Tanksley and Mona and Randy Horrell, all of Chaffee; a stepson, Jerry Wayne Hahn of Kelso, Mo.; four grandchildren, Robyn and husband Josh Shelly of Hayti, Mo., Andrew Horrell, Whitney Horrell and Zach McDaniel, all of Chaffee; two great-grandchildren, MaKayla and MaKenzie Shelly of Hayti; a brother and sister-in-law, Mick and Ruth Ann Glency of Chaffee; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Laverne Simpson of Chaffee, and Velma and Watson Hester of Delta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Patsy Howell and Mary Felty; and a brother, Paul Caldwell.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
