GLEN ALLEN -- Glen W. (Shorty) Moore, 80, of Glen Allen died Jan. 10, 1993, at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired mechanic at Lutesville Motor Co. of Marble Hill. He was born in Glen Allen Sept. 30, 1912, to Clella and Elailie Robertson Moore. On Nov. 20, 1948, he married Ruby Rhodes. She preceded him in death on July 5, 1983...

GLEN ALLEN -- Glen W. (Shorty) Moore, 80, of Glen Allen died Jan. 10, 1993, at his home.

He was of the Baptist faith and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a retired mechanic at Lutesville Motor Co. of Marble Hill.

He was born in Glen Allen Sept. 30, 1912, to Clella and Elailie Robertson Moore. On Nov. 20, 1948, he married Ruby Rhodes. She preceded him in death on July 5, 1983.

He is survived by four sons, Terry Moore of Indianapolis, Ind., Dennis Moore of Denver, Colo., and Carl Moore and John Moore, both of Glen Allen; one stepson, Larry Gipson of Whitewater; two daughters, Nancy Moore of St. Louis and Neleva Steward of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, James Moore of Marble Hill; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren;

One sister preceded him in death.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. Clifton Trentham.

Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
