GLEN N. STATLER

FREDERICKTOWN -- Glen N. Statler, 73, of Fredericktown died Saturday, July 24, 1999, at the Madison Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 16, 1925, at Higdon, son of Homer G. and Lily Wright Statler. He and Iona Jones were married Feb. 15, 1947, at Fredericktown. She died Aug. 30, 1991.

Statler was employed by Uregas Propane Co. for many years and in 1966 began working at Klemp's Propane in Farmington where he remained until retiring in 1989.

He is survived by two sons, Ivan Statler of Jackson and Ray Statler of Fredericktown; a brother, Wyatt Statler of Fredericktown; a sister, Nadine Lewis of Fredericktown; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ray Moore will officiate, with burial following at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown.
