Glen Hupp

Glen Hupp, 72, of Cape died Monday, March 27, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Essex, Mo., son of the late Louis Alonzo and Elizabeth Smith Hupp. He and Dee Loya Hupp were married Dec. 12, 1981, in Las Vegas, Nev.

He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Hupp worked 31 years for Procter & Gamble in California, retiring Aug. 18, 1988. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and fisherman.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Kirk, Kevin and Kent Hupp, all of Long Beach, Calif., Bill Hodges and wife Theresa of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Yvonne Hupp of Mammoth Lakes, Calif., Debbie O'Sullivan and husband Patrick of Castaic, Calif., Cathy Peneh and husband Dar of Newport Beach, Calif., Carrie Lemon and husband Jeff of Long Beach.

Also surviving are four brothers, Elva Hupp and wife Alice of Concho, Ariz., Orville Hupp and wife Avis of Sikeston, Mo., Ace Hupp and wife Kaye of Cincinnati, Ohio, Buddy Hupp and wife Pat of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Bud Schott officiating. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
