DONGOLA, Ill. -- Gladys Wiggs, 85, of Carbondale, died Tuesday, July 14, 1992, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 2, 1906, at Dongola, daughter of Thomas M. and Sarah Elizabeth Penrod Keller. She married Delbert Wiggs April 5, 1927. He died Feb. 12, 1989...

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Gladys Wiggs, 85, of Carbondale, died Tuesday, July 14, 1992, at Carbondale Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 2, 1906, at Dongola, daughter of Thomas M. and Sarah Elizabeth Penrod Keller. She married Delbert Wiggs April 5, 1927. He died Feb. 12, 1989.

Wiggs was a member of the United Methodist Church of Bellview, Fla. She was formerly of Anna.

Survivors include cousins, Opal Casper and Mildred Smoot of Dongola, and James Edwin Montgomery of Cypress.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Earl Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
