GLADYS STUART

CHAFFEE -- Gladys Marie Stuart, 78, of St. Louis died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, at St. John's Skilled Nursing Facility in St. Louis.

She was born Nov. 9, 1920, at Oran, daughter of Edmond S. and Fannie Lobmaster Lyne. She and Walter C. Stuart were married on Jan. 8, 1949. He died Oct. 2, 1990.

She was a retired cashier with Kroger Grocery Store in St. Louis.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Boyer of Clearlake, Calif.; a brother, Gerald Lyne of Delta; a sister, Zelma Nichola of Milford, Del.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at the Randles General Baptist Church in Randles after noon today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the church. The Rev. Keith Price will officiate, with burial at the Friend Cemetery in Oran.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of the arrangements.
