Gladys Little Payne, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at her home.
She was born June 20,1932, in Vandale, Ark., daughter of Jesse and Molly Robinson. She married Eugene Little, who preceded her in death.
Payne moved to Sikeston, Mo., in 1952 and to Cape Girardeau in 1973. She worked several years at Bethesda Mission and was a member of House of Prayer Outreach Mission.
Survivors include five sons, Jimmy Randle of Charleston, Mo., Robert Totton of St. Louis, Tommy Robinson, Orlandas and Walter Totton, all of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Carolyn Davis-Randle of Sikeston, Dlarid "Honey" Gurney of Columbus, Ohio, Margaret Robertson of Chicago; a sister, Helen Robinson of Kansas City, Mo.; 34 grandchildren, including Yalaka and Demetrius Totton and Nichelle Randle under her guardianship; and 35 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers, three sisters, and a grandson.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Greater Dimension Church of God in Christ. The Rev. Stafford Moore will officiate. Burial will be in New Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Friday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
