PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Gladys Marie Mueller, 68, of Perryville died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 4, 1944, in Perry County, daughter of Walter and Anita Hopfer Lohmann. She and Armin Mueller were married July 30, 1966.
Gladys was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter, Kerry Mueller and Gail Mueller of Perryville; four sisters, Ruth Kalsow of Neillsville, Wis., Carolyn (Lloyd) Schoenbeck of Ellis Grove, Ill., Linda (Orville) Ehlers of Fruitland, Viola (Mark) Schilli of Ozora, Mo.; and a brother, Walter (Maxine) Lohmann Jr. of Perryville.
Also eight sisters-in-law, Oneida Mahnken of Steeleville, Ill., Agnes Martin of Salem, Mo., Thekla Mueller, Wilma Mueller, Mildred Bachmann, Elinor Roth, Florence (Donald) Steffens, all of Perryville, Eunice (Nelson) Roth of Frohna; a brother-in-law, Orville Bachmann of Perryville; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, many of whom called her grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister-in-law, Esther Bachmann; six brothers-in-law, Donald Kalsow, Ernst Mahnken, Cleo Martin, Erwin Mueller, Vernon Bachmann and Raymond Roth.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 6:30 to 8 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Church or KFUO.
