GLADYS MORGAN

DEXTER, Mo. -- Gladys Morgan, 80, of Dexter died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehab Center.

She was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Red Rock, Ark., daughter of Homer Cleveland and Dora Lilly Holt Henderson. She and Doy S. Morgan were married April 13, 1935, at Red Rock. He died Dec. 17, 1989.

Morgan moved to Sikeston, Mo., in 1958 from Arkansas, and then to Dexter in 1965. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Lola Morgan of Dexter; a brother, Doy Henderson of Marana, Ariz.; four sisters, Nova Curd of Dexter, Dortys McAnulty and Betty Henderson of Sikeston and Ava Turner of Benton, Mo.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter and a brother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George Hill officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
