FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Gladys Miller, 81, of Fort Wayne, Ind., formerly of Centralia, Ill., and Ullin, Ill., died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, in Hospice Home of Northeast Indiana in Fort Wayne.
She was born July 31, 1919, at Ullin, daughter of Edward and Ora Taake Eichorst. She and Lewis Miller were married May 17, 1953, at Centralia.
Miller was a retired beautician and a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jeffrey Miller of Fort Wayne and Bill Miler of Ullin; two sisters, Vera Eichorst and Laura Eichorst of Ullin; and two brothers, Roy Eichorst and Elmer Eichorst of Ullin.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today at Elzey Haggard Funeral Home in Fort Wayne. Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Peace Lutheran Church.
In Southern Illinois, friends may call after 10 am at Crain Funeral Home Pleasant Grove Chapel on Old Highway 13 between Carbondale, Ill., and Murphysboro, Ill.. Funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
